I can confirm what was said in [yarv-dev-en:180].  YARV's build process 
does not work with autoconf 2.60.  It does work with autoconf 2.59, though.
The mkconfig.rb does not understand the config.status subs for autoconf 2.60.
(Not sure I understand it.)

Attached is a patch which works on my Ubuntu Edgy.
